Aaron Schuchart

Aaron has driven corporate growth for 25 years through strategy, operations, financial management and corporate development roles in both industry and management consulting. He recently led the corporate strategy and business development functions at two private biotech firms, Intrexon and Mendel Biotechnology. Previously, he spent 9 years at Amgen where he led the global out-licensing function and structured and negotiated in-license deals.

He has led a broad range of projects for many biopharmaceutical clients across multiple therapeutic areas and stages of development, including commercial assessment, asset valuation, product development strategy, and portfolio management. He has managed over 40 licensing and strategic partnership transactions and has personally closed over 20 deals with total value exceeding $600 million. Aaron has contributed to industry publications and presentations as both an advisor and speaker on biopharmaceuticals and life sciences strategy.

Aaron holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University and an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, and is a CPA and a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP).

Chris Lehman

Chris comes to Proaltus Partners from Crown Bioscience where he was Executive Director, Business Development and previously from Quintiles where he was Vice President, New Market Development and Head of Business Development for Translational R&D Oncology. Chris brings 20 years of commercial planning, business development, sales and marketing experience with a broad range of drug development and pharmaceutical services companies.

He has led or supported 27 transactions involving technology platforms and clinical stage products across multiple therapeutic areas for small biotechnology firms and their large multinational partners, including Sanofi-aventis, Eli Lilly and Astellas. Previously, Chris founded a strategic advisory firm which grew to a successful practice with 6 partners and over 20 small to mid-size biotechnology clients.

Chris holds a BA in History from Yale University and an MBA from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, where he was awarded the Price Fellowship for Entrepreneurship. He has also completed the Advanced Negotiations Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
